bow logic

The best of bow ties worn by the best of men. Carrot & Gibbs creates neckwear for today's maverick of polite society who may mingle with the masses, but by virtue of his bow, will never, thank Heaven, be a member.

˜

"I wear bow ties because they're ageless, individual, and never double as a bib."
— Charles Countryman, Martha's Vineyard, MA

˜

"To its devotees the bow tie suggests iconoclasm of an Old World sort, a fusty adherence to a contrarian point of view. The bow tie hints at intellectualism, real or feigned, and sometimes suggests technical acumen, perhaps because it is so hard to tie. Bow ties are worn by magicians, country doctors, lawyers and professors and by people hoping to look like the above. But perhaps most of all, wearing a bow tie is a way of broadcasting an aggressive lack of concern for what other people think."
— Warren St John

˜

"Gee, If I'd known I was going to get my picture taken I would have worn a bow tie."
— Archibald Cox

˜

"Bow ties are cool."
— Doctor Who

˜

"Wearing a bow tie is a statement. Almost an act of defiance."
— Rick Kaplan

˜

"Crocodile on my feet
Fox fur on my back
Bowtie 'round my neck
That's why they call me gangsta mack
In the Cadillac!! Yeah!!!"
— Andre 3000, "Bowtie"

˜

"If you're a boxing referee, it's probably illegal to wear a bow tie that spins or changes colors."
— Jack Handy

I'm a 26-year-old man who has had the pleasure of becoming friends with a Mr. James E. Rinehart. Jim is a attorney with 40 years of experience and quite the dapper dresser, never seen without his bow tie. After many paid complements, Jim gave me one of his ties today! "Carrot & Gibbs is the best bow tie you can buy" he proudly told me. He also bestowed this knowledge on me "The women just love em'!" I'm truly excited to wear my first bow tie tomorrow, a Carrot & Gibbs at that!

Cheers,
Mr. B. Kirk Leppert
